Cybship

The image we take for a person with his/her digital environment is the one of a cybship, as there are seaships, spaceships, etc. and of a cybcraft, as there are seacraft, spacecraft for a person with his/her current on-line digital processor.

Using this paradigm matches the WSIS (World Summit on the Information Society) demand for a "people centered/à caractère humain/centrada en la persona" information society and does help thinking about the real nature of the world digital ecosystem, of which the internet is a major part, as being a complex (i.e. intricated)network obeying the Cosmological principle.

As the "kubernetes" (commanding officer, pilot, helmsman, lead user, etc.) of his/her cybship people are to assume their e-empowerment and decide about the operations, the governance and the administration of their cybship: they are the master and the center of their own "e-world". That is, if they have the liberty to enact the 1st law of cyberntics: "The unit within the system with the most behavioral responses available to it controls the system"; the danger for them is some other (commercial, political, influential, etc.) foreign units directly or indirectly provide more behavioral responses. The ship image also help understanding that one can sail using the wind or the attraction of different units to steer its one's own tag.
